The Martingale Baccarat Progression System
For 300 years the Martingale system has been used as an effective number series used in patterns that require mathematical significance�especially in gambling. Anything mathematical in appearance is counted on in gambling as reliable.
Many baccarat players and even some casinos aver that baccarat is hard to beat. Betting on something without the option of skill manipulation of the cards is like betting on a horse we are not riding on. In this scenario we merely watch the game and wait to see who wins. But in baccarat, the Martingale progression system dares change all that, as other baccarat progression systems do.
Martingale takes a step even further than just trying a bit of a progression betting act; it dares to win big and win fast. It meets headlong a losing streak with increasing wagers. If we lose 8 rounds straight, we increase the bets from start to finish till we finally hit a win. But 8 straight losses are seldom in baccarat, they say. There is bound to be a win somewhere. But if not, we have to continue with the bet increases for the Martingale progression theory (or magic?) to take effect.
We're bound to win once we consider that we're dealing here with even bets. Even bets cannot turn out all losses for us�that's why it is termed "even." There's a 50-50 chance here for both win and lose. In baccarat, it's rather 45-55 or 40-60. Hence, this means if we're too unlucky, we might experience nothing except a lose streak. Corollary, this also means we might have nothing all session except a win streak. But mostly, this means we get to win sometime even if losses outnumber wins. Martingale wants us to exploit those win instances.
Hence, with Martingale, it doesn't matter if we have only 3 wins out of 8 plays. Five straight losses will be more than compensated for once we hit 3 straight wins. Suppose we lose all 7 bets in a series of games where we placed $1 at first. Second we placed $2. The increments were doubled. On the 8th (where we placed $128) let's say we won. All the previous wagers were covered and we even profit some. It may not be a big win but at least we took back all losses and are ready to try again. Now, what if this time we win 7 games straight?
